Municipal road lighting demands uniform, continuous illuminance. All-in-one solar street lights are popular on campus access roads and rural arterials because installation is simple and no trenching is required. Confirm road class and target illuminance first, then estimate panel and battery capacity from local peak sun hours.
Typical configurations use 60W–120W integrated heads on 6–8 m poles spaced 25–35 m apart. For higher night traffic, add ~30% power headroom and choose MPPT controllers to improve rainy-day runtime.
Before bulk orders, request IES photometric files and whole-fixture IP reports. On site, ensure south-facing panels without shading and corrosion protection on pole flanges to cut long-term maintenance cost.
The core value of integrated systems is shorter construction — often 100 m of roadway installed in one day.
